The Challenge

TalentBridge Corp, a Fortune 500 technology company with over 200,000 employees, faced critical workforce challenges. Employee attrition had climbed to 25% annually, costing the company an estimated $150M in replacement and lost productivity. The average time-to-hire had ballooned to 45 days, causing them to lose top candidates to competitors.

The HR team relied heavily on manual processes and gut instincts for talent decisions. They had vast amounts of employee data scattered across multiple systems — HRIS, performance management, learning management, and engagement surveys — but lacked the tools to extract actionable insights.

Leadership needed a unified platform that could predict which employees were at risk of leaving, identify what skills the organization would need in the future, and streamline the recruitment pipeline with intelligent candidate matching.

Our Solution

Fastlab AI built a comprehensive HR analytics platform that unified data from seven different HR systems into a single data warehouse. We developed three core ML capabilities: an attrition prediction model, an intelligent resume screening system, and a workforce planning forecaster.

The attrition model analyzed 150+ features including engagement scores, compensation benchmarks, career progression velocity, manager relationship metrics, and external market signals. Using a gradient-boosted ensemble, it predicted flight risk with 85% accuracy up to 6 months in advance, giving HR teams actionable time to intervene.

For recruitment, we built an NLP-powered resume screening system that matched candidates to job requirements using semantic similarity rather than simple keyword matching. The system learned from historical hiring decisions to improve its matching accuracy over time.

The platform included interactive dashboards for HR business partners with drill-down capabilities, automated alert systems for high-risk employees, and integration with the company's existing Workday HRIS.
